By bike
Ample bike parking along Nassaukade directly in front of the shop. The route from Jordaan, De Pijp, Centrum or Westerpark is direct and flat. OV-Fiets stations nearby.
By car
Street parking is available on Nassaukade and surrounding streets — check the Amsterdam parking app for current zone requirements. Easily reached from the A10 via the S105 exit.
From the Jordaan
Walk west on Westerstraat or Rozengracht to the Nassaukade canal — the shop is directly on the canal at 164H, ~7 minutes from the centre of the Jordaan.
From Oud-West / De Hallen
Walk north on Kinkerstraat and turn left onto Nassaukade — about 10 minutes from De Hallen, 7 minutes from the Kinkerstraat/Bilderdijkstraat junction.
From Westerpark
Take Van Hallstraat or Haarlemmerweg south toward Nassaukade — approximately 12 minutes on foot, 5 minutes by bike.

Empire is open every day of the week, 08:00 to 20:00. No closed Mondays. No half-days on Sundays. No reduced hours during public holidays (any exceptions announced on Instagram in advance).
08:00 suits the early commuter who wants a fresh cut before work. 20:00 suits the Zuidas professional who finishes late. The hours were designed around how Amsterdam West actually lives — not the schedule most convenient for us.
Walk-ins are welcome at any point during opening hours. For Saturday afternoons and weekday evenings after 17:00, booking via Fresha in advance guarantees your slot and your preferred barber.
